The HPV folding bicycle was designed and fabricated as a group project, and was completed within one semester. The group produced an endless range of one off pieces for this bike. My role paid special attention to the carbon fiber rear end, which was built from scratch. The rear end houses the bottom bracket, a one sided rear dropout and also the ability to clamp to the main airfoil tube. The bicycle was designed for commuting to and from work. The ability to collapse the form to fit in a bag is perfect way to take it with you on public transportation.
